Lamb - Available September 2012 & January 2013

 

Our flock of sheep consists of Purebred Dorper and Katahdin breeds. Having our own breeding stock means that our lambs are born and raised here on the farm with the utmost care given to each one.

Our lambs are:

- grass finished

- sold either whole or by the side

- average carcass weights of 50 - 60lb per whole lamb

- priced at $6.00/lb (based on hanging/carcass weight)

 

 

 

Pork -Available March - May 2012

 

We purchased our Tamworth breeding stock last year. Tamworth is a heritage breed, red in colour, known for its long lean bacons and excellent mothering abilities. Heritage breeds are also known for doing well on pasture. We are very pleased with this breed and are offering pork as well as breeding stock.

Our pork is:

- sold by the side or in packages

- priced at $6.50/lb in packages

• variety of cuts

• includes smoking cost

- priced at $5.00/lb for sides

• based on hanging carcass weight, skinned with head & feet off

• includes smoking cost
