Grass Only Angus Beef

Grass Only Angus Beef

It's really important to us that our customers understand what we feed our animals, and why, because what animals eat has a profound effect on the finished meat product they produce.

Our priority over the years has been to sell grass-fed & finished beef, which means our cattle are fed a 100% grass diet from start to finish, no grains given whatsoever. This is the true meaning of GRASS FINISHED BEEF. This pasture and forage diet consists of grass and alfalfa hay which is produced completely naturally right here on our farm. Raising cattle on a strict grass-fed diet has proven to produce  a healthier meat with a higher anti-oxident content, more vitamin E and omega-3's, and a lower total fat content. Grass-fed & finished beef is also typically known to have a better flavour profile.

Our topmost focus is always to promote strong health from the get go, rather than treat disease, in all of the animals we raise here on our farm. We utilize strict bio security measures on-site to maintain herd health.

We only bring in new animals to our farm once in a while, and we control public access, so we are able to minimalize the transfer of micro-organisms from other farms to ours. Our cattle have adapted to the micro-organisms on our land and in our soils so their bodies know how to handle them.

This closed herd system and living in natural, open pasture provides a very healthy environment for our cattle and produces what we believe to be superior quality beef.

100% Grass-Fed

100% Grass-Fed

Our cattle are born and raised here on our farm in open pastures, and are never given growth hormones or regular use of antibiotics. We choose to only use antibiotics on our animals when absolutely necessary.

We raise an Angus based herd of cattle, with purebred Angus bulls. Prior to introducing a bull to our herd we study the lineage of the animal and learn all about the stats on what birth rate they will produce, including the percentage of marbling in the meat. We take great care in choosing a high quality bull for our breeding stock to ensure that we are producing the best meat for our customers.

Our cattle live 100% free range on fresh, natural pasture every single day of their lives. They are treated with kindness and customized care to ensure they live happy, stress free lives.

How to Order

How to Order

Grass finishing means that we keep our cattle longer than most.  They need the time to become of age and marble naturally rather than forced with grains.  This means that our input costs are inherently higher than conventionally raised cattle.

Our beef pricing is based by the pound. We offer individual cuts or a variety of bulk purchasing options described below.

The sampler packs have a little of every cut that you would find in a side of beef.   Prices include all processing fees, but keep in mind that you will have a waste factor when dealing with sides.  Hanging weight is not take home (boxed) weight.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us  or if you are interested in placing an order please have a look at our on-line store - choose the "store" tab above.  Please note that all individual cuts are priced per pound with the exception of sampler packs.
